The fortified town had triangular shape with more than 20 towers

and was surrounded by the river Dunav /Danube, river

Jezava (read: Yeh`zavah) and Petrijev /Peter`s stream.

Fortification had 2 parts: The Great and the Small town (fortified palace of duke George Brankovitch).
